Burdekin River Minor Flooding Report 25-01-13 as at 1.00pm

The current level of the Burdekin River at Inkerman Bridge is 6.1m.

The BOM advises that the expected peak at Inkerman Bridge is approximately 7m at about midnight tonight.

At this level, water is lapping the Rita Island Bridge at Anabranch. Water is also close to entering the reserve at Groper Creek.

At this stage, the Burdekin Shire Council Flood Reporting centre will not be issuing any flood bulletins, but will continue to monitor the situation.

Residents of Rita Island and Groper Creek should also continue to monitor river levels.
