Council will be undertaking planned scouring work on the Rossiter’s Hill Area Water Scheme on Thursday 3 October, 2013 from 9.00 am.

These works will result in a loss of normal water pressure for up to four hours to residents of Rossiter’s Hill and Old Clare Road areas. These residents are advised to store their day’s supply of drinking water before 9:00 a.m.

Residents in the South Ayr, Railway Street, Old Clare Road and Rossiter’s Hill areas may experience water discolouration for a period following the planned works.  It is advisable to delay washing of clothes etc., for up to two days after work is completed.

Council regrets any inconvenience that may be caused to residents as a result of these necessary maintenance works.
