Job Vacancy 1409 – Leading Hand (Line Marking) – Works

Burdekin Shire Council is currently seeking applications for a Leading Hand (Line Marking) within the Works section.

Primarily this position is responsible for carrying out line marking and signage of Council road assets. Working under the direction of the Works Foreman, ancillary tasks include allocating and organising plant and labour for construction and maintenance work of Council and Main Roads assets and projects.

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Queensland Local Government Employees Award – State and Burdekin Shire Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.  The salary is to a ceiling of Level 6 – In Charge – $52,696 gross per year which includes Construction Allowance.  The commencing salary will be dependent upon the skills and experience of the applicant.
