Under Section 28 of the Land Protection (Pest and Stock Route Management) Act 2002 Burdekin Shire Council is required to give public notice when its draft Pest Management Plan has been prepared.
Prior to sign-off by the State Minister and formal adoption of the plan by Council, the community is invited to make written submissions for the draft Burdekin Shire Council Pest Management Plan.
Copies of the draft Burdekin Shire Council Pest Management Plan will be available for inspection, free of charge, at the following locations from Wednesday 4 November 2015 –
- Burdekin Shire Council Office, 145 Young Street, Ayr
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm
- Burdekin Shire Council Library, 108 Graham Street, Ayr
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10.30am to 5.30pm
Thursday 12.00pm to 7.00pm
Saturday 9.00am to 4.00pm

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 1.00pm to 5.00pm
