Home Hill Harvest Festival – Oct and Nov

Harvest Festival Logo

The Home Hill Harvest Festival is an annual event that celebrates the end of the sugar harvesting season and has been running since 1963.

The celebrations include a wide variety of family events and culminate in a Grand Parade and Mardi Gras.

The  Home Hill Harvest Festival takes place every year in November. This great festival celebrates the sugar cane crushing season in the Burdekin Shire.

A week-long program of events culminates in a street parade and mardi gras at Home Hill. Other events include the Burdekin Bride of the Year, fun run, pet show, mini-market day, agricultural display, talent show and gala ball.

Stay up-to-date with Home Hill Harvest Festival events by visiting and liking the Harvest Festival Facebook page.
