A team of three are responsible for undertaking activities in the Compliance area.

General Details

The role of the Compliance Officer is to implement Council’s Local Laws including:

  • Animal management
  • Overgrown and unsightly allotments
  • Parking
  • Illegal camping
  • Abandoned vehicles
  • Nuisances – dust, noise at domestic premises

Most of the work is in the animal management area which includes:

  • Animal Registration (Dogs and Cats)
  • Nuisance Animals
  • Animal Attacks
  • Impounding
  • On-the-spot fines
  • Inspections and notices
