Tender TSBC/17/003 – Removal of CO2 at the Home Hill Water Tower – Supply and Installation

Tenders are invited for the Design, Construction, Supply, Installation, Commissioning and 12 months Defects Liability of upgrades to Home Hill Water Treatment Plant for the purpose of reducing the concentration of free CO2 in the raw water. This can be undertaken by replacement with new Aerators or suitable alternate technologies.

A compulsory site inspection is to be undertaken on the 26 April 2017.

Notice of Auction – Saturday 17th September

In accordance with a resolution of Burdekin Shire Council dated 9 February 2016 Burdekin Shire Council hereby gives notice that:

A) An auction will be held at 10am on 17 September 2016 at the Burdekin Theatre, 161 Queen Street, Ayr QLD 4807.

B) The land to be auctioned is described as:

(i) 30825 BRUCE HIGHWAY, BRANDON QLD 4808 being Lot 12 SP138992 as contained in Title Reference 50347704, having an area of approximately 4.061 Ha.

The auction is being conducted as a result of Burdekin Shire Council exercising its right pursuant to the Local Government Act 2009 and in accordance with Chapter 4 Part 12, Division 3 of the Local Government Regulation 2012.

Abandoned Vehicles for Auction on Friday 5 August 2016

TAKE NOTICE that the Burdekin Shire Council, in accordance with the provisions of the “Transport Operations (Road Use Management) Act 1995” will offer 23 abandoned motor vehicles for sale by public auction.

The public auction will be held on Friday 5 August 2016 at 9.30am at Council Works Depot, Jones Street, Ayr.

A chance to inspect the vehicles is available from 8.30am on the day of auction.

No entry is permitted to view the vehicles before the allocated time.
