All Giru residents to continue to conserve water for essential purposes

Ergon Energy has advised that issues with transmission lines between Alligator Creek and Ayr continue to interrupt normal power supply to the Giru township and the Cungulla water treatment plant.

Electrical storms currently occurring in the region are hampering repair efforts.

Water held in low level storages at the Giru Water Tower and Water Treatment Plant will be able to be delivered to the water tower once full power supply has been restored.
