  • Burdekin Shire Council (the “Council”) has, by resolution dated the 28th day of February 2017, made Community and Environmental Management (Amendment) Subordinate Local Law (No. 1) 2017.

Subordinate local law amended

  • Community and Environmental Management (Amendment) Subordinate Local Law (No 1) 2017 amends Subordinate Local Law No. 3 (Community and Environmental Management) 2012.

Authorising local law

  • The authorising local law for Community and Environmental Management (Amendment) Subordinate Local Law (No 1) 2017 is Local Law No. 3 (Community and Environmental Management) 2012.

Purpose and general effect

  • The purpose and general effect of Community and Environmental Management (Amendment) Subordinate Local Law (No 1) 2017 is to declare an additional plant, being Neem tree (Azadirachta indica) as a local pest in Council’s entire local government area.

Consolidated version of subordinate local law

  • Council has, by resolution dated the 28th day of February 2017, adopted a consolidated version of Subordinate Local Law No. 3 (Community and Environmental Management) 2012.
