Burdekin Shire Council wishes to advise that a temporary closure of the Cromarty Creek Boat Ramp and camping area is required from Tuesday 3rd October, 2017 until approximately Friday 6th October, 2017, weather permitting.

The temporary closure is required to undertake replacement of existing road drainage structures on Cromarty Creek Boat Ramp Road. No travel will be permitted beyond the Giru Waste Transfer Station during the closure.

Further closures of the Cromarty Creek Boat Ramp and camping area will be required to complete additional road drainage replacement works however Council will notify the public of dates and times well in advance of the planned works.
