Registration - Birds/Poultry

Residents wishing to keep more than the allowed number of birds must apply to Council for a Permit to Keep Animals.

1. Poultry - more than 10 in number of the same or different species
2. Caged Birds - more than 25 in number of the same or different species
3. Cockatoo/s kept on any allotment within 200m of another residence within the Shire.

Also note that any bird/s capable of generating a noise so as to be annoying to persons in the neighbourhood is also required to obtain a permit.
