Council wishes to appoint a Caretaker for the Ayr Showgrounds to assist with the management, supervision, maintenance and cleaning of the showgrounds.
Caretaker duties are expected to amount to approximately 20 hours per week. No remuneration is payable. The successful candidate will be entitled to occupy the caretaker’s residence free of charge for the term.
The term will be for an initial period of 12 months. Satisfactory performance may see this term extended. The caretaker will be expected to work with and take direction from the Council’s Management Agent for the showgrounds, the Ayr Pastoral, Agricultural & Industrial Association Inc.
