Applications are invited to fill a vacancy on Council’s Environmental Health Team.
This position is responsible for providing innovative environmental health services to improve the health and well-being of the Burdekin community. Projects involving natural resource management, coastal management and climate change are a focus for this position.
Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Local Government Officers’ Award and Burdekin Shire Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement. An annual salary of up to $69,460 is offered, dependent upon the experience of the successful applicant. Flexible working conditions include a nine-day fortnight, five weeks annual leave per year, 12% superannuation and locality allowance.
