The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a Queensland Government/local government partnership that supports professional and emerging professional artists and arts practitioners living in regional Queensland.
The focus of the funding program is on the development of quality art and arts practice for, and with, regional communities. Like other RADF programs across the state, the Burdekin program is guided by decisions made by a committee representing a diversity of demographic and artistic backgrounds.
Committee members may serve for a maximum term of four years, with an option to step down after two years. The Committee meets on an irregular basis to assess applications received under the program and make recommendations to Council.
The Burdekin RADF Committee seeks to fill positions that have become vacant.
To register your interest, please complete the nomination form and send it to Burdekin Shire Council.
Nominations close Monday, 2 June 2014.
