Aussie pop duo The Clique will be the special guest judges and performers at the upcoming Fast Track Talent Showcase to be held in Ayr on August 16.
Burdekin Shire Youth Council coordinator Tammy Quagliata said The Clique would not only be part of the workshops, but also perform at the event.
“The Clique (Jordan and Jacinta) were originally part of the trio called Third Degree who competed and finished in the top 4 in last year’s The X Factor, now they are a duo and have just released their new single Live the Life.
“Our Youth Council is really excited about this event and we want as many of our talented residents to sign up for it.
“Nominations were now open and we would love to see performers come from across the North Queensland region to participate.
“The event will consist of workshops in the morning, heats in the afternoon and the showcase at night where the event will finish with performances by The Clique and Frank Dixon.”
Mrs Quagliata urged performers of all ages including, but not limited to singers, musicians, bands, dancers and comedians to sign up for the event.
“This is your chance to get in front of an industry panel of judges, who act as scouts for The Voice and The X Factor, and showcase your talent,” she said.
