Changed Traffic Conditions
Move to permanent alignment – 21st June 2016
The Bruce Highway Upgrade (Yellow Gin Creek) project will soon reach a key milestone on 21 June 2016,
with traffic being diverted onto the permanent alignment and newly constructed bridge.
However, construction activities will continue with the removal of the temporary sidetrack and culvert
works following the opening of this section of the Bruce Highway. This means that at various times during
the works, some intermittent stoppages may be required to allow construction vehicles to move from
one side of the Bruce Highway to the other.
Traffic and speed restrictions will remain for the duration of the project. Advance warning signs have been
erected to notify road users of these changes and motorists are urged to observe and obey all
signage when travelling through this site.
Your patience and cooperation is appreciated while these works are underway.
