Temporary Closure – Barramundi Creek Boat Ramp

The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) wishes to advise that the temporary closure of the Barramundi Creek boat ramp is ongoing while upgrades to the existing ramp and the installation of a floating walkway are carried out.

Due to adverse weather in late February/early March, upgrades to the boat ramp and floating walkway temporarily ceased until flood waters subsided.  While works have now recommenced, construction will continue past the previously advertised completion date (22 March 2018).  At this stage, the works are scheduled to be completed by Saturday 7 April 2018 (weather and construction conditions permitting).

More information about this change in construction schedule can be obtained by contacting TMR Customer and Stakeholder Management team on 1800 625 648 or via email to .

The project team would like to thank the local community for their patience during these important works.
