Beachmount features 14 kilometres of beautiful coastline at the township of Wunjunga, 35 kilometres south of Home Hill. For those who want to take in the unspoilt beauty of the area, camping is allowed at Funny Dunny Park for a monetary donation. Campers are allowed to stay at Funny Dunny Park for a maximum of four days.

Animals including wallabies, scrub turkeys, goannas, birds and turtles can be seen at Wunjunga.

Getting there

Travel south from Home Hill, then turn left at the sign about 6 kilometres past Mount Inkerman.

The road from the highway to Wunjunga is gravel and the drive is a bird enthusiast’s dream.

The fishing, the flora, the fauna, the beach, the aboriginal middens and the houses built on huge granite boulders makes Wunjunga an interesting spot to visit.
