Lynch’s beach or Alva beach as it is traditionally known as, is located at the township of Alva, approximately 17 kilometres from Ayr. The beach is well known for it’s fishing, with many people catching fish and crabs.

Alva is also home to one of North Queensland’s oldest surf life saving clubs, the Ayr Surf Life Saving Club.

Getting there
