Users are charged a two part water tariff that includes a fixed access charge and consumption charge.
Water meters are read twice per year in October/November (half year reading) and May/June (end of year reading). End of year Water Consumption charges are included in the annual rate notice and half year consumption charges are included in the Water Consumption Notice normally issued in January of each year.
For the financial year 2018/2019 the access charge is $451.00.
For water consumed in the 2018/2019 financial year:

0-1,000,000 litres – 25 cents per 1,000 litres (1 kl)
Over 1,000,000 litres – 1 dollar 25 cents ($1.25) per 1,000 litres (1 kl)
For water consumed in the 2017/2018 financial year:
(May/June 2017 reading to May/June 2018 reading)
0-1,000,000 litres – 22 cents per 1,000 litres (1 kl)
Over 1,000,000 litres – 1 dollar 10 cents ($1.10) per 1,000 litres (1 kl)
