Burdekin Library is delighted to present 'Now is the Time: Kids on Tour’, a Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) regional touring project for children and families.

‘Now is the Time: Kids on Tour’ features a range of free, hands-on art making activities created by QAGOMA in collaboration with contemporary Australian artist Raquel Ormella who was inspired by children around the world calling for awareness and action on climate change.

Children are invited to create their own climate change placards, design a bespoke protest T-shirt or vote for what they care about using materials designed by the artist.

These FREE activities are available during library opening hours, Monday to Saturday, through the January school holidays. Bookings are not required.
