(Grader, Trucks, Utes, Trailers, Spray Units and Small Plant)

Quotations are invited for the above quotation closing at 12 noon on Wednesday 4 October 2017.

Quotation documents are available from the Council’s Customer Service Centre at any time during normal office hours or download the Quotation package on Council’s website www.burdekin.qld.gov.au and complete the Form of Quotation.

Quotations shall be sealed in an envelope and endorsed as “TBSC/17/017 – Request for Quotations for the purchase of used plant” and lodged in the tender box located at the Burdekin Shire Council, 145 Young Street, Ayr.

The plant will be available for inspection on Friday 29 September, 2017 between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. at the Council’s Jones Street Depot. Enquiries should be made to the Manager – Technical Services, or the Workshop Superintendent.

All plant will be sold in a “as is condition” and “unregistered”, however a safety certificate may only be provided at the discretion of the Workshop Supervisor. The plant will not be released until the replacement plants are fully in service. Some ancillary equipment will not be sold with the plant and will be removed by Council. The plant may be offered as trade against the new replacement plant and Council reserves the right to sell these plants privately or otherwise.

Any persons making inspections of the plant must report to the Workshop Superintendent or his representative and comply with Council’s Workplace Health and Safety Standards, and in particular wearing of closed in footwear.

Quotations shall be deemed to be inclusive of GST. Quotations received by telephonic advice will not be considered. Late quotations will not be considered.  The highest or any quotations will not necessarily be accepted. Council reserves the right to sell these plants privately or otherwise.

Sale of Second-hand Computer Equipment – May 2014

The Burdekin Shire Council would like to advise that there will be a range of second-hand computer equipment for sale from the Burdekin Shire Council Chambers between Friday the 23rd of May 2014 and Friday the 27th of June 2014.

There are:

  • 59 computers complete with monitors (mostly 6 years old)
  • 4 laptops (7 to 10 years old)
  • 6 monitors (10 to 11 years old)
  • 1 photocopier.

Computers can be tested before making a purchase if required.

The items on offer will be sold in ‘as is’ condition with no on-going support to be provided by Council.

Notice of Auction

In accordance with a resolution of Burdekin Shire Council dated 23 July 2013 Burdekin Shire Council hereby gives notice that:

A) An auction will be held at 10am on 5 April 2014 at the Burdekin Theatre, 161 Queen St, Ayr QLD 4807.

B) The land to be auctioned is described as:

(i) 66 Fifteenth Street HOME HILL QLD 4806, being Lot 22 RP 746049 County of Salisbury, Parish of Inkerman as contained in Title Reference 21400067, having an area of approximately 0.1174 Ha.

(ii) 16 John Rae Street MILLAROO QLD 4807, being Lot 8 Crown Plan M 9102 County of Gladstone, Parish of Millaroo as contained in Title Reference 20509114, having an area of approximately 0.1206 Ha.

The auction is being conducted as a result of Burdekin Shire Council exercising its right pursuant to the Local Government Act 2009 and in accordance with Chapter 4 Part 12, Division 3 of the Local Government Regulation 2012.

A copy of the proposed terms and conditions of the sale contract will be available seven (7) days before the auction date and can be obtained by forwarding a written request for a copy of the conditions to; Townsville City Council, Legal Services, PO Box 1268, TOWNSVILLE QLD 4810 or emailing.

Conduct of the auction is always subject to the obligations of Council set out in Chapter 4, Part 12, Division 3 of the Local Government Regulation 2012 and particularly, but without limitation, section 141(3).

Sale of Secondhand Computer Equipment – February 2014

 

Secondhand computer equipment can be viewed and purchased between the hours of 12:30pm and 4:30pm from Wednesday, 19th February 2014 to Friday, 21st February 2014.

The items on offer will be sold in ‘as is’ condition with no on-going support to be provided by Council.

Item for Sale – Surplus Shelving

The Burdekin Library, Graham Street, Ayr will be replacing its Adult Shelving in early January, 2014. This shelving will be surplus and will be available for purchase.

Details of available shelving include:

45 double sided bays – H 1800 mm W 900mm; shelf width 21 mm; 4 to 5 shelves per side per bay.

12 single sided bays – H 1800 mm W 900mm; shelf width 21 mm; 4 to 5 shelves per bay.

Prospective buyers are advised to inspect the shelving prior to lodging an offer to purchase.

Shelving must be collected from the Burdekin Library, Ayr from 6 to 10 January, 2014. No shelving will be stored for later collection.

Offers to purchase must include the following detail:

  • Details of shelving required;
  • Purchase price of shelving required (including GST);
  • Whether the purchaser wishes to collect the shelving in assembled or disassembled form.

Offers to purchase shelving shall be sealed and endorsed as above and may be delivered to the Burdekin Library, Graham Street, Ayr or delivered by post or directly placed in the tender box located at the Burdekin Shire Council Administration Building, 145 Young Street, Ayr not later than 2-00 pm on Wednesday, 18 December 2014.

The equipment can be viewed and purchased between the hours of 12:30pm and 4:30pm and will be on sale from Monday 23 April 2012 to Friday 27 April 2012.

The items on offer will be sold in ‘as is’ condition with no on-going support to be provided by Council.

Written quotations closing at 4.30 pm on 23rd March, 2012 are invited for the purchase of obsolete and redundant computer equipment. 

Quotations shall be sealed and endorsed ‘Quotations – Sale of Obsolete and Redundant Computer Equipment’.

The items on offer will be sold in ‘as is’ condition with no on-going support to be provided by Council.

Items will be on display for inspection at the Council Chambers, 145 Young Street, Ayr, between the hours of 12.30 pm and 4.30 pm from Wednesday 21 March 2012 to 12 noon Friday 23 March, 2012.
