QBSC/18/002 – REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIVE (5) USED LIGHT VEHICLES
(AWD Mitsubishi, 2WD Utility cab chassis only, and 2WD Dual Cab)
Quotations are invited for the above quotation closing at 12 noon on Friday 23 February 2018.

Quotation documents are available from the Council’s Customer Service Centre at any time during normal office hours or download the Quotation package on Council’s website www.burdekin.qld.gov.au and complete the Form of Quotation.
Quotations shall be lodged in the tender box located at the Burdekin Shire Council, 145 Young Street, Ayr or electronically to email address . Ensure that the quotations lodged in the tender box are in a sealed envelope and endorsed as “QBSC/18/002 – Request for Quotations for the purchase of five (5) used light vehicles” and emails have the subject heading “QBSC/18/002 – Request for Quotations for the purchase of five (5) used light vehicles”.
The plant will be available for inspection on Friday 16 February, 2018 between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. at the Council’s Jones Street Depot. Enquiries should be made to the Manager – Technical Services, or the Workshop Superintendent.
All plant will be sold in a “as is condition” and “unregistered”, however a safety certificate may only be provided at the discretion of the Workshop Supervisor. Some ancillary equipment will not be sold with the plant and will be removed by Council. Please note that there are three (3) utilities being sold as cab chassis.
Quotations shall be deemed to be inclusive of GST. Quotations received by telephonic advice will not be considered. Late quotations will not be considered. The highest or any quotations will not necessarily be accepted. This used plant will not be released until the replacement plants are fully in service.
The plant may be offered as trade against the new replacement plant and Council reserves the right to sell these plants privately or otherwise.
Any persons making inspections of the plant must report to the Workshop Superintendent or his representative and comply with Council’s Workplace Health and Safety Standards, and in particular wearing of closed in footwear.
