Quotation documents are available from the Council’s Customer Service Centre at any time during normal office hours or download the Quotation package on Council’s website www.burdekin.qld.gov.au and complete the Form of Quotation.

Quotations shall be sealed in an envelope and endorsed as “TBSC/17/017 – Request for Quotations for the purchase of used plant” and lodged in the tender box located at the Burdekin Shire Council, 145 Young Street, Ayr.

The plant will be available for inspection on Friday 29 September, 2017 between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. at the Council’s Jones Street Depot. Enquiries should be made to the Manager – Technical Services, or the Workshop Superintendent.

All plant will be sold in a “as is condition” and “unregistered”, however a safety certificate may only be provided at the discretion of the Workshop Supervisor. The plant will not be released until the replacement plants are fully in service. Some ancillary equipment will not be sold with the plant and will be removed by Council. The plant may be offered as trade against the new replacement plant and Council reserves the right to sell these plants privately or otherwise.

Any persons making inspections of the plant must report to the Workshop Superintendent or his representative and comply with Council’s Workplace Health and Safety Standards, and in particular wearing of closed in footwear.

Quotations shall be deemed to be inclusive of GST. Quotations received by telephonic advice will not be considered. Late quotations will not be considered.  The highest or any quotations will not necessarily be accepted. Council reserves the right to sell these plants privately or otherwise.

Request for Quotations- Design and Creation of Artwork in 3 locations at Eighth Avenue, Home Hill

Council is seeking  quotations from interested parties for the creation and installation of artwork at three locations in Home Hill.

The artwork is to be created  as part of the Works for Queensland program. Details of the three locations can be found in the below quotation form.

Tender TSBC/17/003 – Removal of CO2 at the Home Hill Water Tower – Supply and Installation

Tenders are invited for the Design, Construction, Supply, Installation, Commissioning and 12 months Defects Liability of upgrades to Home Hill Water Treatment Plant for the purpose of reducing the concentration of free CO2 in the raw water. This can be undertaken by replacement with new Aerators or suitable alternate technologies.
