Kerbside bin collection change - Issue 2

As a result of the unavailability of the Cleanaway Recycle Collection Truck, there will be changes to the kerbside collection as follows until further notice:

Red Lid and Yellow Lid

• General waste (red lid) and recycle waste (yellow lid) – No change.
• Bins will be collected as usual. Delays may be expected so residents are advised to leave their bins out until it is collected.
• The recycle bins (yellow lid) will be picked up by the Greenwaste Collection Truck from 22 December to 28 December on their usual collection week.

Green Lid

• All greenwaste collections are on hold until Tuesday 29 December 2020. Residents are encouraged to self-haul their greenwaste to the transfer stations if their bins are full.
• Missed greenwaste bins from 22 to 28 December will be programmed for collection as soon as possible from Tuesday 29 December 2020.
• Residents whose greenwaste was not picked up during the 22-28 December period may leave their bins out from Tuesday 29 December to Friday 1 January until collected.

Council will notify residents if any further or new information comes to hand.
