Water Warriors

Are you recovering from your latest water rate notice? Want to save water and money around your home? Burdekin Shire Council is preparing to launch an initiative aimed at providing information and advice on simple water saving solutions both inside and outside your home. As part of the initiative, Council is looking for Water Warrior 'Ambassadors' from across the Shire who are willing to follow water wise tips and have their water use documented during the initiative.

As an added incentive, Water Warrior Ambassadors will receive a Wobble-T water saving sprinkler, two tap timers, and have a consultation with a Council Officer to see if their home could be eligible for one of the Burdekin's first smart water meters. Register your interest below!
