Bi-annual water supply meter reading is scheduled to commence on Monday 13 April 2026.
Weather permitting, the approximate timeframes and areas for the commencement of meter readings are as follows:
- 13 April to late April – Home Hill and surrounding areas, Rossiters Hill, Mt Kelly and Alva Beach areas
- Late April to Early May – Outskirts of Ayr, Sutcliffe Estate and Brandon areas, Giru and surrounding areas.
- Early May to Mid May – Parkside, East Ayr, Ayr CBD and South Ayr areas
These times include the potential for weekend work also.
To assist Council meter readers, residents are kindly requested to ensure meters are clear of all obstructions, dogs are isolated and/or restrained, and gates are unlocked.
