Route Specific Permits

Route Specific Permits grant permission from Council to use a conditionally registered recreational vehicle along a specified route of Council's roads.

  • Alva from the vehicle's garaged location to the nearest beach entry point
  • Wunjunga from the vehicle's garaged location to the nearest beach entry point
  • Jerona from the vehicle's garaged location to the boat ramp

The Route Specific Permits contain conditions such as:

  • Vehicle must be garaged at the residence listed on the route
  • Permit shall remain current for the duration of currency of the registration in the registered operator's name
  • Vehicle is only permitted to operate on the designated route and times as submitted and approved
  • Permit must be carried on the vehicle and produced when required by an authorised officer
