Exciting improvements at the Burdekin Aquatic Centre are nearly complete. To ensure everything is ready for a great season ahead, the Centre will now reopen in mid-September. This short extension allows final electrical and ground works to be completed, along with the finishing touches on the new amenities block. Council thanks the community for their patience whilst upgrades are underway.

In a busy modern society it can be hard to remember the small things. What day is it? Which bins need to be put out on the street? Is it a recycling or a green bin this week?
What Bin Day allows you to enter your address to find out when your bins will be collected. You can even print a 12 month calendar showing all your bin collections for the current year. Alternatively, download the app to your iOS or Android phone from the store.

Bin collection days remain unchanged for Burdekin residents even if your bin day falls on a public holiday.
We ask residents to please ensure their bins are placed on the kerbside for collection on the night before or prior to 6:00am.
