Burdekin Shire Council is excited to announce that Community Bank Home Hill and Ayr will return as the major sponsor and naming rights partner for the 2025 Burdekin Christmas Carols, to be held on Sunday 14 December 2025 at Wickham Street, Ayr (beside the PCYC).

Following the success of last year’s event, the much-loved community celebration will once again light up the festive season, bringing families and friends together for an evening of music, joy, and holiday cheer.

Darren West, Director of Community Bank Home Hill and Ayr, said the bank is proud to continue its partnership with Council for a second consecutive year.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Burdekin Shire Council again for the 2025 Christmas Carols,” Mr West said.

“After the joy and community spirit we witnessed last year, we knew we wanted to be part of it again. Supporting events like this is at the heart of what we do, bringing people together and giving back to the community.”

This year’s stage program will be curated by Monica Licciardello, known for her creative flair and passion for community arts.

“I’m so excited to be bringing a fresh twist to this year’s carols,” Mrs Licciardello said.

“We’ve got some surprises in store and a lineup that celebrates the incredible local talent we have right here in the Burdekin. It’s going to be a night to remember.”

Mayor Pierina Dalle Cort welcomed the renewed partnership and praised the bank’s ongoing commitment to the region.

“We’re incredibly pleased to have Community Bank Home Hill and Ayr back on board as our naming rights sponsor for the 2025 Burdekin Community Christmas Carols,” Mayor Dalle Cort said.

“Their continued support not only helps bring this special event to life, but also fosters a wonderful sense of festive spirit and connection across the Burdekin.”

The 2025 event will also feature a visit from Santa Claus, a fireworks spectacular, free face painting, and a variety of food stalls.

Council is calling for expressions of interest from food and drink vendors keen to be part of this fantastic event.
