Local favourite René Le Feuvre returns home for 2026 NQ Fast Track

Burdekin Shire Council is pleased to announce local artist René Le Feuvre has been added as a special guest to the 2026 NQ Fast Track Talent Showcase, joining ARIA Award–winner Conrad Sewell for an exciting weekend celebrating emerging musical talent.

Fresh from touring internationally as a support act for Conrad Sewell, René is returning home to be part of the Fast Track Showcase on Friday evening, bringing his growing global experience back to the Burdekin stage.

Born and raised in the Burdekin, René has quickly built an impressive profile, achieving more than two million streams and performing high‑energy shows across Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe and North America. His return marks a proud moment for the local community, highlighting the success that can be achieved by homegrown talent.

René will take part in the Friday evening workshop, serve as a guest judge for the Friday Night Heat, and deliver a live performance as part of the evening’s program, offering valuable insight and inspiration to Fast Track participants.

Mayor Pierina Dalle Cort said the addition of René Le Feuvre further strengthens an already exciting Fast Track line‑up.

“Having René return to his hometown after touring internationally is incredibly special for our community,” Mayor Dalle Cort said.

“Fast Track is all about nurturing and showcasing emerging talent, and René’s journey is a powerful example of where passion and dedication can lead.”
