Stallholders Invited to Join 2025 Seniors Month Expo and Luncheon

Burdekin Shire Council is inviting expressions of interest from local organisations interested in participating in this year’s Seniors Month Expo and Luncheon, to be held on Thursday 30 October 2025 at the Burdekin Memorial Hall.

The annual event is a celebration of our senior community and a chance for residents to connect with valuable information, support services and health and wellbeing initiatives.

Council is currently seeking stallholders that offer services or support in the areas of:

• Seniors’ lifestyle and community engagement

• Finance and legal services

• Health and wellbeing

Mayor Pierina Dalle Cort encourages organisations to be part of the celebration.

“The Seniors Month Expo and Luncheon is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the wisdom, contributions, and vibrancy of our senior residents,” Mayor Dalle Cort said.

“We are proud to support this event each year, and I encourage local organisations to get involved and showcase the valuable services they offer to support a healthy, connected living for our older residents in the Burdekin.”

Organisations interested in hosting a stall are encouraged to contact Council’s Community Development team on (07) 4783 9800 or via email at commdev@burdekin.qld.gov.au to request a Stallholder Expression of Interest form.

Registrations close Monday 15 September 2025.
