It’s time to clear out your wardrobe, household items, and garage clutter — and turn it all into cold hard cash!
Join Burdekin residents for two Super Saturdays of bargains, treasures, and community spirit. Whether you're selling or shopping, there's something for everyone!
When: Saturday, 7 November and Saturday, 14 November 2026
Where: Ayr Showgrounds Hall
Time: 8am to 1pm
So gather up your clothes and accessories that you no longer wear and bring a rack or load up your car boot with your unwanted household goods and set up a stall. The possibilities are endless.
No fee will be charged to hold a stall and stall holders can choose to take part on one day or both days.

Garage Sale Trail is a waste avoidance and reduction program which supports achievement of the Queensland Waste Management and Resource Recovery Strategy which sets out to achieve a 25% reduction in household waste by 2050.
Garage Sale Trail 2025 - Highlights
In 2025, more than 500 people took part across our two Saturday Garage Sale Trail markets at the Ayr Showgrounds, buying and selling everything from pre-loved clothing and household treasures to refurbished lawn mowers. With a sausage sizzle and coffee on hand to keep shoppers fuelled, the events were a great way for the community to come together, grab a bargain and give useful items a second life.
