Expressions of Interest, Quotations or Tenders

Offers to buy items or opportunities to supply Council with products or services may be invited through expressions of interest, quotation, or tender in accordance with the Local Government Regulation 2012:

• Tenders are used for the purchase and sale of goods and services valued at $200,000 or more (excluding GST).
• Expressions of interest are used in some circumstances prior to calling for tenders.
• Quotations are sought for items valued at less than $200,000 (excluding GST).
• Items are occasionally offered for sale at a fixed price if they do not sell when offered for sale by tender or auction.
