Councillor Delfine (Fina) Vasta

Biography

Councillor Delfine (Fina) Vasta is serving her first term as Councillor of Burdekin Shire Council, elected in March 2024. 

Fina has experience in administration and hospitality and works as an Administration Officer at the Ayr Police Station and has done since 1998. She is a Justice of the Peace (Qualified) and a Workplace Health and Safety Representative with Queensland Police Service. 

Fina's key interests are arts, culture, elderly and youth and values honesty, respect, family and compassion. She looks forward to working alongside the team and her committees to foster the continued growth of community and arts activities in the Shire. 

Fina has two adult sons and two grandchildren.
