Councillor Max Musumeci

Biography

Councillor Max Musumeci has a background in agriculture, trade industries and sales.  He is serving his first term as a Councillor of Burdekin Shire Council.

Councillor Musumeci has qualifications in farming and sales, experience and a strong interest in property development, and has received a number of accolades obtained over many years volunteering in various roles. Being born in Home Hill and with a farm on the North side of the Burdekin River, Max’s roots in the Shire run deep. While having all residents in mind, Max’s key areas of interest include agriculture, building and construction, and community strengthening. Max has always been community-minded and is a Director of the Home Hill and Ayr Bendigo Community Bank branches (2013 - present). He is a former Coordinator for the Cane Field Ashes for three years and former Providore of the Home Hill Golf Club.

Max is married with two children.
