Celebrate 40 Years of Stories at the Burdekin Library
The Burdekin Library is excited to announce its 40th birthday celebration, marking four decades of fostering a love for literature and learning within the community.
The Library officially opened on 31 March 1984, to commemorate this significant milestone, there will be cake-cutting events at each of its branches.
Join us to celebrate 40 years of stories at the Ayr Library on Tuesday 16 April 10:00am-11:00am and the Home Hill Library on Wednesday 17 April 10:00am-11:00am as we revel in the memories, accomplishments and stories that have defined the library’s rich history.
Council welcomes the community to visit their local library and join us in commemorating the remarkable journey of the Burdekin Library over the past four decades.
The Burdekin Libraries serve as dynamic community hubs, devoted to fostering lifelong learning, enhancing literacy and nurturing an affection for reading. Offering an extensive array of resources, programs and services tailored to individuals of all ages and interests, our libraries provide a welcoming space for all to come together.
