Construction has commenced on the Anzac Park All-Abilities Playground
Construction has commenced on the Anzac All-Abilities Playground with $80,000 set aside to upgrade play equipment.
This significant investment will rejuvenate the all-abilities playground, which has served the community since 2011. The upgrade introduces innovative play equipment not seen previously in the Burdekin designed to inspire and challenge children of all abilities and courage levels, including the debut of the Custom Cliff Rider and the WeHopper in the Burdekin region.
In addition to these exciting new features, the playground will also see the installation of three interactive playboards, further enhancing the interactive and inclusive nature of the play space.
Please note, to facilitate a smooth installation process, the playground will be temporarily closed during construction to ensure the health and safety of patrons. During this brief closure period, the playground will also undergo a comprehensive maintenance refresh, ensuring that the space will not only be more engaging but also more comfortable for all visitors.
Council is hoping to have the works complete and the playground reopened by Anzac Day.
